KIIT International MUN 2025 Ends on a High with Global Participation, Star Power and Diplomatic Grandeur

Bhubaneswar,swa news : The KIIT International Model United Nations (KIIT MUN) 2025 has concluded with participation from across India and abroad over three days.

The presence of three International Executive Board members, over 20 corporate sponsors, and a spectacular Star Night featuring Bollywood playback singer Ash King were the highlights of this edition.

The conference kicked off on December 5 with enthusiastic participation from young delegates and more than 30 international students. Addressing the inaugural session, Prof. Raju K. D., Pro Vice-Chancellor, highlighted the growing relevance of diplomacy in today’s world. “In the digital age, the art of diplomacy is going to be counted,” he said, observing that the present world is “mostly polarised.” He encouraged students to view MUN as a platform to understand global complexities and reaffirmed KIIT’s philosophy of “empower, enlighten, enable, and engage” in shaping future leaders.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Saranjit Singh, in his address, celebrated the international diversity of the conference with delegations from three different countries.

Registrar Prof. J. R. Mohanty highlighted the growing international interest in KIIT MUN and noted that 33 members from abroad have come to be part of this global youth forum.

During the course of the event, delegates engaged in intense debates, negotiations and policy drafting across multiple UN committees simulating contemporary and historical geopolitical crises. The presence of International Executive Board members added strong academic depth and global perspectives to the proceedings.

Apart from committee sessions, the conference featured workshops, academic masterclasses, cultural performances and vibrant campus engagement activities. Delegates lauded the hospitality, seamless coordination and dynamic atmosphere throughout the event.
