NTPC Darlipali Launches “SwachhataPakhwada 2025” with a Cleanliness Pledge

swa news : NTPC Darlipali Launches”SwachhataPakhwada 2025″ on May 16, 2025, with a SwachhataPledge-taking ceremony held at the plant and administrative building. Employees, support staff, and workers actively participated in the event, expressing their commitment to cleanliness and hygiene by taking a collective pledge in support of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

Shri Ram Bhajan Malik, Executive Director of NTPC Darlipali, administered the SwachhataPledge to all department heads and employees at the administrative office. Similarly, Shri Hare Ram Singh, GM (O&M), led the pledge at the service building and plant canteen, while the Chief Medical Officer conducted the oath-taking at the Niramaya Hospital.

SwachhataPakhwada 2025 will be observed from May 16 to May 31 with great enthusiasm and active participation across the NTPC Darlipali premises. A large-scale cleanliness drive is planned in and around the plant, including the Shubhrajyoti Nagar Township, nearby Darlipali village, bus stand, and market areas.

In addition to the cleanliness drives, various competitions and creative activities will be organized throughout the fortnight. These include drawing contests, slogan writing, calligraphy, and “Best Out of Waste” competitions aimed at engaging employees, township residents, women, and school children. These activities are designed to raise awareness about cleanliness and inspire community involvement in the initiative.

The primary goal of SwachhataPakhwada 2025 is to promote awareness about cleanliness among employees and contribute to creating a cleaner workplace and society.
