Darlipali, swa news :NTPC Darlipali Super Thermal Power Station successfully conducted the District-Level Mock Exercise – 2025on 17 october2025 in collaboration with the District Emergency Section, Collectorate Sundargarh, DDF&B (Rourkela Division), and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), 3rd Battalion, Mundali, Cuttack.
The exercise aimed to strengthen disaster preparedness, enhance inter-agency coordination, and raise public awareness on emergency response mechanisms. The large-scale mock drill featured live demonstrations and coordinated response activities by teams from NDRF, NTPC Emergency Response Units, CISF (Fire Wing & Security), District Fire Services, and ODRF.




Distinguished dignitaries who graced the occasion included Shri Suraj Kumar Pattnaik (ADM, Sundargarh), Shri Bibhu Prasad (DDF&B, Rourkela), Shri Ashwin Kumar Panda (Dy. Collector, Emergency), Mrs. Sujata Tirkey (DPO, OSDMA), Shri Ajaya Barora (District Fire Officer), Shri Ravindra Sharma (Main Incident Controller, NTPC Darlipali), Shri Ipil Bage (Site Incident Controller, NTPC Darlipali), Shri Lalatendu Mohanty (Deputy Commandant, CISF – Fire Wing & Security), Shri Dharmendra Singh (Asst. Commandant, CISF – Fire Wing & Security), and representatives from the ODRF.
The event was seamlessly coordinated by Shri P.K.M. Tripathi, AGM (Safety), and concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by Shri A. Mohanty, DGM (Safety).
