Darlipali,swa news : On 7th November 2025, NTPC Darlipali celebrated its 51st Foundation Day with great enthusiasm and joy. On this special occasion, Shri. Faiz Tayyab, the Head of Project Head, NTPC Darlipali graced the event as the Chief Guest.
The celebrations began with the hoisting of the NTPC flag, singing of the NTPC song, and inspection of the CISF parade. The atmosphere turned festive with a cake-cutting ceremony that followed.
In his inspirational address, Sh. Tayyab appreciated the station’s achievements and urged all employees to continue working with dedication, innovation, and pursuit of excellence. He highlighted NTPC’s glorious five-decade journey and its significant contribution to the nation’s power sector and nation-building. Towards the end of his address, he also presented awards to Karmayogi Trainers and Health Champions.
The event was attended by Shri. Ravindra Sharma (General Manager – Operations & Maintenance), Shri. Ipil Bage (General Manager – Operations & Fuel Management), Shri. Radheshyam Maurya (General Manager – Maintenance & Ash Management), Mrs. Pratibha Singh (Head – Human Resources), all departmental heads, representatives of the Darlipali Employees’ Union, and NTPC Darlipali employees.
The program concluded with a live broadcast of the Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) Mr. Gurdeep Singh’s message from the NTPC Corporate Centre. Addressing all stations on NTPC’s Golden Jubilee, he extended heartfelt greetings to officers and employees.
Earlier in the day, a mass tree plantation drive was organized under the leadership of the AGM (Environment), in which senior officials and employees actively participated. Around 2,000 saplings were planted near the MGR railway line, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to environmental sustainability.
Following the Foundation Day celebrations, a crash helmet distribution campaign was organized at the Subhrajyoti Nagar Welcome Gate under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. Shri Faiz Tayyab distributed helmets to bike riders, promoting road safety awareness. This initiative marked an important step toward encouraging safe traffic behavior among employees and the local community.
The 51st Foundation Day celebrations at NTPC Darlipali reflected the organization’s commitment to excellence, sustainability, and safety, while honoring its five decades of proud service in powering the nation.
