Bhubaneswar,swa news : The Odisha Naval Tata Hockey High Performance Centre (ONTHHPC) once again proved its strength at the national level by winning the gold medal for the second year in a row at the 3rd Hockey India Junior Women Academy Championship in Karnal, Haryana. The team finished the tournament on a high note with a solid 2–0 win over Roundglass Punjab Hockey Academy in the Grand Finale.
Throughout the tournament, the ONTHHPC girls displayed remarkable discipline, sharp coordination and a level of consistency that set them apart.
Their unbeaten run started with strong group-stage wins, beating the Sports Authority of Gujarat Hockey Academy 3–0 and the Mumbai Schools Sports Association 9–0. They kept up the momentum in the semi-final with a confident 4–0 victory over Jai Bharat Hockey Academy. In the final, the team stayed calm, played with control, and secured the championship.
Star midfielder Pragya Patel added further pride to the victory, earning the Grand Finale Player of the Match award for her impact and impressive play throughout the match.

Odisha Naval Tata Hockey HPC recently celebrated a string of impressive victories, with it’s U-14 Grassroot Boys clinching the 35th KD Singh Babu Hockey Tournament title and a silver medal at the 9th SNBP All India Hockey Tournament, while Junior Women’s team secured the HAO State Hockey Championship and the Junior Men’s team earned third place in their respective State Championship.
