15th Foundation Day Celebrated at Adani DAV Public School

Dhamra, 07.04.2026: The 15th Foundation Day of Adani DAV Public School was celebrated with immense joy, pride, and enthusiasm on 5th April 2026. The programme commenced with a warm welcome address by Mrs. Utkalika Priyadarshani Sahoo, setting a graceful tone for the occasion. Mr. Krushna Chandra Jena, CRCC, Gananath Government High School, Madhpur, Chandbali, Life Member of Swami Vivekananda Loka Sansad, Odisha graced the event as the Chief Guest Cum Chief Speaker of the day and remained the focal point of the celebration. Mr Mrunmaya Kumar Manna, the Project Officer, Adani Foundation and Mr Deba Narayan Mishra, the Former Educationist, DAV Institution were invited as the Guests of Honour in the celebration.

Following tradition, a sacred havan was performed and Prasad (Porridge) was distributed among all stakeholders to invoke divine blessings and create a spiritually uplifting atmosphere. Adding to the serene ambiance, a beautiful welcome song was performed in chorus by the students, orchestrated under the expert guidance of Mrs. Saswati Samanta. Taking a walk down memory lane, senior teachers of the institution—Mr. Suvendu Keshari Bidhar and Mr. Santosh Kumar Tripathy shared their valuable experiences and reflected on the humble beginnings and remarkable growth of the school. Abhilipsa Biswal, a student of Class X shared her views about the caring of the school towards its students.  

The Guest of Honour, Mr Mrunmaya Kumar Manna, the Project Officer, Adani Foundation shared his inspiring stories and encouraged students to be good citizens in their future endeavour. The Guest of Honour, Mr Deba Narayan Mishra, the Former Educationist, DAV Institution explained some exemplary extracts and encouraged students to bring name and fame to their school. In her address, the Principal of Adani DAV Public School, Mrs. Krishnapriya Sarangi motivated students to carry forward the rich legacy of the school and to remain steadfast in their service to humanity in this locality. The celebration was further enriched by vibrant cultural performances by the students, beautifully reflecting themes of devotion and loyalty towards the school. Moreover; a plantation programme was done as a day to remember. The entire programme was efficiently coordinated by Mr. Soumya Ranjan Dash and Ms. Priyadarshani Prusty, while Ms. Gitanjali Kumari proposed the vote of thanks. With seamless coordination and enthusiastic participation from all, the celebration concluded resounding success.
