Dhamra, 11.03.2026: Adani Foundation, the CSR arm of Adani Dhamra Port Company Limited, celebrated International Women’s Day 2026 with great enthusiasm, embracing this year’s theme, “Give to Gain.” The event recognized and felicitated women who are actively contributing to community development through various government programs and grassroots initiatives.
Around 130 women participants from nearby villages attended the event. The participants represented diverse roles such as Krushi Mitra, MBK (Master Bookkeeper), Bank Mitra, Community Resource Persons (CRP), and members of various Self-Help Groups (SHGs). These women have been playing a significant role in strengthening livelihoods, financial inclusion, and community welfare at the grassroots level.
The event was graced by Dr. Madhumita Ray, Guest Faculty at XIMB University, and Binapani Panda, Block Program Manager of the Odisha Livelihood Mission, Chandbali, along with officials from Adani Foundation. The distinguished guests appreciated the dedication and contributions of these women in driving positive change within their communities.
The celebration included a range of engaging activities and interactive sessions aimed at empowering the participants. The speakers inspired the women to continue their efforts toward community development and emphasized the importance of leadership, collaboration, and self-reliance.
The event highlighted the commitment of Adani Foundation to promote women’s empowerment, community participation, and inclusive development in the port’s peripheral areas.
