Dhamra, swa news : Adani Foundation, the CSR arm of Adani Dhamra Port, has launched a comprehensive Road Safety Awareness Programme across various locations in Bhadrak district with the objective of promoting safer road practices and reducing accidents in high-traffic zones.
Under the programme, Adani Foundation has planned multiple interventions including the installation of traffic signals, speed barriers, and large-scale awareness activities through Nukad Natak (street plays). The initiative is being implemented in close coordination with the Regional Transport Office (RTO), Bhadrak, and various Truck Owner associations and Driver Associations operating in the region, ensuring collective responsibility and effective outreach.
As part of the first phase, two awareness-oriented Nukad Natak programmes were successfully conducted at Betada and Basudevpur market places, drawing active participation from local communities, drivers, and pedestrians. Building on the positive response, similar public awareness events are planned over the next five days at multiple key locations along the Dhamra–Jamujhadi road, a crucial transport corridor witnessing heavy vehicular movement.

Through this initiative, Adani Foundation aims to sensitize drivers and communities about traffic rules, safe driving practices, and pedestrian safety. The programme reinforces Adani Foundation’s commitment to community well-being and road safety, contributing to safer mobility and reduced accident risks in the region.
