swa news : NTPC Darlipali successfully organized ‘Media Meet 2025’ on 29th October 2025 at the project’s Administrative Building. The event witnessed the participation of representatives from leading media organizations of the region.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Shri Faiz Tayab, Head of Project, NTPC Darlipali, who extended a warm welcome to all media representatives and senior officials. In his address, he highlighted NTPC Darlipali’s commitment to green and clean energy generation and shared insights on the project’s advanced pollution control technologies, road development initiatives, and afforestation drives being undertaken in Sundargarh and Jharsuguda districts. He also outlined the roadmap for the future expansion plans of the project.
Appreciating the role of the media, Shri Tayab stated,“Media serves as a strong bridge between society and organizations. It holds the responsibility of delivering accurate information to the public and presenting the true picture of development. Active participation of the media strengthens transparency and trust.”

Ms. Pratibha Singh, Head of Human Resources, presented a detailed overview of NTPC Darlipali’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, key achievements, and environmental efforts.
The event was also graced by the presence of senior officials of the project, including Shri Ravindra Sharma (General Manager – Operation & Maintenance), Shri Ipil Bage (General Manager – Operation & Fuel Management), Shri Radheshyam Maurya (General Manager – Maintenance & Ash Management), Shri Sameer Bhanja (AGM – R&R), Shri Prashant Behera (AGM – Ash Utilization), and Dr. D. Nandeshwar (AGM – Environment Management).
The objective of the Media Meet was to strengthen engagement with media representatives and to share updates on the project’s progress and its social responsibility initiatives.
