Darlipali, Sundargarh,swa news : NTPC Darlipali celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and national pride at Utkarsh Bhawan in its township. Shri Faiz Taiyab, Head of Project, unfurled the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem and release of tricolour balloons symbolising the spirit of freedom.
In his address, Shri Taiyab lauded the dedication of employees from all departments, including Operations & Maintenance, Safety, Environment, CSR, Medical Services, and CISF, for their role in the project’s progress. He also appreciated the contributions of Deeksha Play School, Abhilasha Ladies Club, and Bal Bhawan.
The celebration featured cultural performances by employees, school students, and members of the Abhilasha Ladies Club, including patriotic songs, folk dances, plays with social messages, and a fancy dress competition. The diversity of performances reflected the spirit of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat”.
During the GM Meritorious Award ceremony, outstanding employees, CISF personnel, contract workers, and school students were honoured for their exemplary service and achievements.
The event concluded with a tree plantation drive, reinforcing NTPC Darlipali’s commitment to environmental sustainability and community development, while inspiring all to contribute to nation-building.
