Jharsuguda, swa news : Vedanta Aluminium, India’s largest producer of aluminium, has introduced a safety initiative at its Jharsuguda facility, ‘Safety on Wheels – Suraksha Safar’, to strengthen its safety-first culture.The program features an onboard display system in the business partner transport bus, continuously screening work-area-specific safety videos during daily commutes.By embedding safety communication into routine travel, the company aims to make safety awareness a seamless part of everyday experience, reinforcing safe behaviours beyond the shop floor.
Safety remains a core value at Vedanta Aluminium, underpinned by continuous engagement and innovative interventions. ‘Suraksha Safar’ brings this philosophy to life by making safety awareness an integral part of daily routine. The onboard display system screens curated, work-area specific safety videos during commutes, ensuring relevance, practical applicability, and sustained engagement. This initiative complements the company’s robust safety framework, which includes regular training programmes, mock drills, and digital safety campaigns, creating a culture where safety is second nature.
