Dhamra, 06.05.2026: Adani DAV Public School, Kuamara, Bhadrak witnessed a joyful blend of learning, creativity and enthusiasm as a four-day Summer Camp and Parents’ Orientation Programme was successfully organised from 02.05.2026 to 05.05.2026. The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Mrunmaya Kumar Manna, Project Officer, the Chief Guest of the occasion, who inspired students and parents to make the best use of the learning opportunities offered during the camp. Conducted daily from 7.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. on two separate platforms, the programme created a lively ambience of activity and interaction for both students and parents. The Summer Camp engaged students in a wide range of co-curricular activities such as Drawing, Painting, Palm Painting, Origami, Mask Making, Balloon Bursting, Clay Modelling and Plantation. They also enjoyed sessions on Fun with Music, Community & Patriotic Songs, Alankar & Taal and energetic Jumble Dance, which filled the mornings with joy and rhythm. For physical fitness and mental freshness, students actively participated in Yoga, Meditation, Pranayam and indoor-outdoor games like Hula Hoop, Football, Chess and Carom.
At the same time, a good number of K.G. Wing parents attended the Parents’ Orientation Programme where important topics like CBSE Curriculum Guidelines under NEP-2020, Parenting Style, Power of Art, Low Cost Teaching Aids, Activity Based Learning, Communication Skills and the Socio-Emotional, Cognitive and Psychomotor Development of Children were discussed. Parents also participated enthusiastically in several joyful and innovative activities such as Water Scavenger Hunt, Pick and Stick, Nature Bracelet, Musical Math, Let Us Write with Magic, Emotion Tree, Freeze Dance, Hit the Target, Healthy & Unhealthy Basket and many more, making the orientation highly engaging and practical. The Principal of the school, Mrs. Krishnapriya Sarangi awarded all top performers with excellent prizes. The entire programme was efficiently coordinated by Mr. Arun Kumar Lenka and Mrs. Gayatri Mahapatra on two different platforms. In her inspiring address, the Principal, Mrs. Krishnapriya Sarangi urged all participants to implement the valuable takeaways of the camp for better growth and learning in the coming days. The four-day programme concluded with grand success, leaving behind happy memories, enriched minds and a renewed spirit of joyful learning.
