Adani Foundation observes National Farmers’ Day 

Vision for Sustainable and Holistic Agricultural Growth

Dhamra, swa news : Adani Foundation, the CSR arm of the Adani Group, celebrated National Farmers’ Day 2025 with great enthusiasm at Narsinghprasad village. The event saw participation from more than 200 farmers and government officials from various departments, including Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), NABARD, District Agriculture Office, ORMAS, and District Fishery Office etc. The introductory speech given by Unit CSR Head of Adani Foundation highlighting the importance of this farmers’ day.

The CEO Dhamra Port was also present in the event and in his address he highlighted Adani Foundation’s significant role in promoting sustainable agriculture practices. He emphasized the importance of leveraging AI and new technologies in agriculture to drive growth and development. He appreciated the farmers and their hard work and stated that Adani Foundation will always be there with all the farmers of this area in their holistic development.

Farmers actively participated, sharing their experiences and success stories, including the adoption of natural farming techniques, cultivation of vegetables through Non-Pesticide Management practices, and enhancement of milk production. The event served as a platform for collaboration between farmers and government departments, promoting the adoption of modern and sustainable farming methods. By celebrating National Farmers’ Day, Adani Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to the agricultural community, focusing on initiatives that drive sustainable development and improve farmers’ lives. Through its Farmers’ Club and Farmer Producer Organization (FPO), the Foundation continues to play a pivotal role in empowering local farmers, reinforcing its mission to create long-term social impact in Bhadrak’s agricultural landscape.
