NTPC Darlipali Launches Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam) 2.0 campaign and Swachhotsav Cleanliness Campaign

swa news : NTPC Darlipali reaffirmed its commitment to environmental sustainability and community well-being by organizing a large-scale tree plantation drive under the campaign titled ‘A Tree in the Name of Mother’ (Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam) 2.0, alongside the inauguration of the Swachhotsav – Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 cleanliness campaign.

The tree plantation event took place within the administrative building premises, witnessing enthusiastic participation from employees across various departments. Over 2,000 saplings of environmentally friendly species such as Terminalia, Gulmohar, Amaltas, and Karanj were planted. In a touching gesture, employees dedicated each sapling in the name of their mothers, symbolizing a deep emotional connection with the environment.

The events were graced by Shri Faiz Tayyab, Head of Project (NTPC Darlipali) and attended by including Shri Epil Bage, General Manager (Operations & Fuel Management), Mr. R.S. Maurya, General Manager (Maintenance & Ash Dyke Management), Ms. Pratibha Singh, Head of HR, and Mr. D. Nandeshwar, AGM – Environment Management .
