Under Ek Ped MaaKeNaam initiative of Govt of India, State Bank of India Bhubaneswar Circle has carried out mass plantation of 3540 saplings in western part of Odisha. Plantation were carried out in Odisha AdarshaVidyalaya(OAV) Rengali& OAV Kuchinda of Sambalpur District, OAV Haldipali Bargarh & OAV Barpali of Bargarh District, OAV KursudTitlagarh and OAV Kantabanji of Bolangir District and OAV Barkote of Deograh District. Various fruit bearing trees such as Mango, Litchi, Guava, Custard Apple, Pomegranate and other orchard trees like Neem, Kranj, Drum Stick, Amla, Lemon, Papaya, Debdaru, Babul and other forest and medicinal saplings were planted inside the school campus areas. Shri Sanjay Kumar Jha, DGM(B&O) Sambalpur Module and Shri Manas Kumar Pradhan, Regional Manager RBO Sambalpur graced the vent at OAV Rengali. Shri Madhusudan Rath, Regional Manager Bargarh had joined at OAV Haldipali Bargarh. Shri Pradyumna Kumar Swain , Regional Manager Bolangir had joined at OAV Kursud , Titlagarh .SBI Bhubaneswar Circle has carried out the plantation drive under CSR initiave in association with NGO SARC Sambalpur.
