Odisha Naval Tata Hockey HPC Cadets Power India to Junior World Cup Bronze

Bhubaneswar, swa news : In what could be a proud moment for the state, Bhubaneswar based Odisha Naval Tata Hockey High Performance Centre (ONTHHPC)’s cadets propelled the Indian Junior Men’s Hockey Team to clinch Bronze at the FIH Hockey Men’s Junior World Cup 2025. With Anmol Ekka being named the Player of the Match, Adrohit Ekka, Roshan Kujur and Rohit Kullu – all from the HPC – gave a powerful performance at the match against Argentina played in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

India secured the podium finish with a strong 4–2 win over Argentina, showcasing sharp attacking play and solid defensive resilience. ONTHHPC cadet Anmol Ekka delivered an outstanding performance.

“This is a moment of immense pride for ONTHHPC and for Odisha,” said Hemant Gupta, CEO, ONTHHPC. “Having four cadets in the Junior World Cup squad, and Anmol being recognised in a medal match, highlights the strength of our high-performance system and the dedication of our athletes and coaches.”

A joint initiative of the Government of Odisha, Tata Steel and Tata Trusts, ONTHHPC continues to nurture exceptional young talent from across the state, preparing them to shine at the national and international levels.
