Partnering with local authorities and community stakeholders, the company rolled out high visibility campaigns promoting responsible driving behaviour, road discipline and life safety. As part of the awareness drive, Vedanta Aluminium led multiple initiatives to reinforce the importance of road safety:

A major highlight was the nukkadnatak, which effectively conveyed the consequences of unsafe driving while reinforcing helmet usage and seatbelt compliance. The campaign further encouraged positive public participation through the distribution of road safety badges.
- In Lanjigarh, the programme extended deep into the community through a road rally featuring strong safety messaging, a school outreach programme reaching over 1,000 students across five schools, and a bike rally with 100 participants. Nukkadnataks were also organised, spotlighting the seriousness of traffic violations, while driver welfare initiatives included an eye checkup camp for 70 drivers and the distribution and installation of bicycle blinker lights to enhance nighttime visibility for riders, further reinforcing the message of “Life Safety” for all road users.
